Mullerthal hiking tour & Stretching in the forest & Camping lunch & Water Tower observation

Join us for a full day of adventures and thrills in the Mullerthal region, just 35 minutes drive from Luxembourg city centre!  During the impressive trail course, our passionate nature guide will explain to you how thousands of years ago this stunning region was formed🍂💚😉🌳.

We will start the guided tour of around 2 hours in the Mullerthal, with a little pause for stretching in the forest. After this we will have lunch at Bistro Martbusch, where the trail starts and ends. 

In the afternoon we will visit a Water Tower in Berdorf, at the end of the visit it will be served a local drink 🥂.

PROGRAM:

10h00: Meeting point in front of the Camping Martbusch (3 Beim Martbusch, 6552 Berdorf). Free parking available in front of the camping. 

10h30: Start of the guided tour (in English) - Auto Pédestre B2 Berdorf (length: 4,2 km). Includes 10 minutes stretching pause in the forest.  

12h30: End of the guided tour. 

13h00: Lunch at the Bistro Martbusch (at Camping Martbusch). Cars can remain at the camping park. 

14h45: Leaving to the Aquatower (106 A, Rue de Consdorf, 6551 Berdorf) – 2 minutes by car from the Bistro Martbusch. 

15h00: Arrival at the Water Tower. Guided visit to the exhibition & admire the beautiful region landscape at the top.

16h00: End of the visit with a local crémant on the top. 16h30: Back home.

(Material needed: comfortable hiking shoes 🥾👟 and clothes, a hat, sunscreen cream and a warm jacket - some parts of the forest can be colder, are recommended. Water and energy bars are also recommended).

Tour price: 55€ per person. Includes an exclusive guided tour in Mullerthal (in English), stretching session in the forest at the end of the trail, lunch at Bistro Martbusch* (includes a voucher for 12€ of consumption that will be given to each participant for spending on food and/or drinks, as you wish. If you exceed this amount, you will have to pay the excess yourself directly to the restaurant), and guided visit (English or French) to the Water Tower including a glass of crémant at the top.

* Bistro Martbusch has a very varied menu, from hamburgers to salads or more complete dishes, as well as a wide list of drinks (https://camping-martbusch.lu/ausstattung/restaurant/).

Minimum: 8 people / Maximum: 15 people. Not recommended for children under 14 years.

Make your reservation online as soon as possible as the guided tours are limited in number.

Booking & Cancellation Conditions: given the limited number of places, we accept bookings for this programme up to 3 days prior to the date of the trip (until 21st September). Cancellations are accepted up to 3 days in advance, i.e. if the tour is scheduled for 24th September, we accept a cancellation (for any reason) until the 21st September inclusive, and the amount paid will be refunded in full.

If the cancellation is made after this date, there will be no right to a refund of the amount previously paid.

This program cannot be carried out in adverse weather conditions as it does take place outdoors. In case of cancellation due to expected bad weather the participant must choose one of the following options: either Forward Nature refunds the person after notice of cancellation, or the amount already paid will be credited to a future trip (in this case the participant receives an email with the confirmation of the amount in credit to be used in a future trip).
